Thank you for your e-mail of 15th August 2001.
Dorset Police have had the opportunity of reading Mr Husband's e-mails of the 13th and 14th August. We have also seen the letter dated 1st August 2001 from Mr Coulter's legal adviser. We are grateful to the respondent for allowing us access to this letter.
Whilst a number of assertions made in Mr Husband's e-mail of 13th August are disputed, Dorset Police accept that the respondent should be given adequate opportunity to present his case and are prepared to agree to extra time. Understanding that Mr Coulter's solicitor would like an extension until 22nd August we feel that the request to extend to the end of September is excessive. By way of compromise, we would be prepared to agree a delay until the end of August.
We are of course anxious to progress this matter as quickly as the rules allow as the issues raised in our original complaint regarding the inappropriate use of the disputed domain names is continuing.
